Founder’s Story
Spark On Board was founded by a Dutch woman whose experience working on board ships exposed both the realities and the overlooked potential of life at sea. Long hours, high responsibility, and constant operational pressure revealed a clear gap: while maritime technology continues to advance, the human side of operations is often left behind.
She saw that when crews are supported with better tools for communication, understanding, and collaboration, trust grows and teams perform more safely and effectively. This insight became the foundation of Spark On Board.
